Dropping JS-Kit, moving to Disqus for story comments

I’ve made an Executive Decision here recently, and decided to drop the use of the Echo/JS-Kit commenting system on the site in favor of Disqus. Unfortunately comments have not been migrated from the old system (yet) so all of our previous stories show up with no comments. I hope to have this corrected soon.

Disqus is the best commenting system I’ve seen. Good decision.

We’ve just made this decision too. Js-Kit has good support, but I also like it when things work and having all the ‘sites I manage’ disappear when I was trying to setup for the new launch sealed the deal for me.

Fortunately I didn’t need to do this since my comments don’t have complex structure yet. I am having trouble importing my exported JS-Kit comments which is a little annoying, but the Disqus site seems to be working other than that.
