TechVirtuoso

About

Welcome to TechVirtuoso.com – powered by a passion for information technology.

Our purpose is to create a space where we can talk candidly about the projects we’re working on, the things that interest us, and create a space to help other IT people by providing them with tools and information necessary to do their jobs better.

Our crew is comprised of professional IT administrators from around the United States. From consulting to higher education, from engineering to desktop support, we represent a cross section of the business IT community. We’re not interested in making money off our blog, just as long as we can keep the doors open. We’re not looking to hire you to be a journalist, this is a place we’re creating for ourselves. In addition to being IT professionals, we also have long term experience in blogging and in community management, from multiple sites in the technology enthusiast community. But it is the first time we’ve come together to create something for ourselves.

Our goal as technology bloggers is to educate and interact with our community in a manner that reflects positively on ourselves.

  1. We will never willfully or knowingly publish information that is inaccurate or where the facts are in question.
  2. When we publish opinion, it is our own.
  3. When and where it is necessary to call companies or individuals into question though comment, it will be done in a respectful and factual manner.
  4. We like knowing things other people don’t, but we’ll share what we can with you. We will not break non-disclosure agreements.
  5. When mistakes are made, we will admit to them and correct them promptly, seeking to minimize damage done to ourselves and to our readers as a result of our actions. We want you to rely on us.
  6. Conflicts of interests, affiliations, activities of all bloggers will be clearly disclosed.
  7. We will deny advertisers the pressure to influence content, and when exceptions are made it will be fully disclosed to our readers. We will not accept information from those who seek favors.
